Something for Everyone
Do you know how to become a count? It's very easy - you must marry a countess' daughter as Michael York's character did in "Something for Everyone". But, before you get the title, you should kill some unwanted people and, certainly, seduce all the members of this rich family.
Anthony Higgins is Helmuth von Ornstein, a countess' son, modest and shy young man, the one and only who really loves York 's character with all the passion and the suffering of first-time love. And I like Angela Lansbury as the Countess very much - she is magnificent and very, very beautiful.
At last "Something for Everyone" is available on DVD in Europe. Spain edition was made in the end of 2008, but everything you can see at the caps - scratches, spots, "sand" and other "dust" - is on this DVD as it was on VHS or as on an original old film, thet had no restoration from the 1969-1970. Anyway... enjoy! And Anthony Corlan is Anthony Higgins on this DVD cover.
P.S. Young Michael York and Anthony Higgins both not only show us beautiful athletic bodies, but one very passionate kiss. Anthony Higgins will have gay kisses one more time in "Alive and Kicking" twenty-six years later, but relationships between the characters will be absolutely another, so that kisses are not as sexual as this one.
