Taste the Blood of Dracula
"Taste the Blood of Dracula" marked the beginning of the decline of the Hammer Dracula series. Obviously, Christopher Lee wasn't up to playing the role anymore, and Dracula actually doesn't get much screen time. The first third of the film revolves around the trio of old gentlemen looking for thrills. Their meeting with an occultist obsessed with resurrecting Dracula made them do strange things. On the ceremony of resurrecting they should drink the blood of Dracula, but instead of it they bacame witnesses to occultist's death. The second third is about silly Dracula's revenge - all three gentlemen will be dead. And the last part is a new version of Dracula's death.
Anthony Higgins as Paul Paxton is a traditional hero for the Dracula series young man, who will kill the Count to save his bride. Both Paul and his beloved lost their fathers and friends, but nothing can distroy their happiness. This is a leading role and Anthony is really good in this mixture of Romeo and Van Helsing.
