Moses
Sir Ben Kingsley, David Suchet, Christopher Lee and many, many other top stars are glorious in one of the Bible's stories.
The entire life of Moses from birth to death is presented in 3 hours. Kingsley's gifted made-for-television performance is very good. As a theosophy source, "Moses" is an example of the simplest view of The Prophet. If you're too busy to read The Bible or can't choose which miracle is the greatest, the film is good-no long lists of commands and outdated morality lessons.
Everyone has said that Higgins' performance in "Moses" is good. Yes, it is great, but not in the scene with manna. Korah (or Korach or Cor, in my native language this name sounds like "Korei") is excellent in the dark colours of the night and in the glaring sunlight of the day of rebellion scenes. In the film, the rebellion is an absolutely different story from what it is in The Bible.
P.S.: Nice long shirt, nice Higgins' natural beard and well-curled frizzy hair.
