The Bride
Boring Frankenstein's story by Franc Roddam with good costumes and landscapes.
Baron Charles Frankenstein (Sting) made a bride for his first monster, but she is too beautiful and too clever. Viktor (the first monster) wanders into the countryside where he befriends a dwarf and they became circus performers. In the end Eva is in love with a young, but not very honest soldier (Cary Elwes) and not allowed to Baron to make her his lover. Victor saves her and kills Charles. Happy end.
In this movie Dr. Henry Clerval is a sort of Casanova with a long black plait and a seductive smile.
Goofs: In one take, when Anthony Higgins thinks he in not in a frame, he looks at a camera and at the operator. In the ball scene in Baron Frankenstein's castle Clerval lifts up his head to look at the rain of spangles and when Sting raises his hand Anthony tries to get them out of his mouth (look at © 24).
