ARMCHAIR THEATRE: The CREDITORS

"The Creditors", a one act play written by August Strindberg in 1889 was adopted for the contemporary British TV series "Armchair Theatre" in 1972. There are only three characters in it - a husband, a wife and a lover, so Anthony Higgins has a leading part.

The play seemed to me something long and boring, and Anthony was so unnatural in this that I couldn't believe he got it. Don't waste your time, but if you like his young appearance, look at it anyway.
