Big family, big problems. Three sisters, their parents, husbands, lovers are building theirs lifes in five episodes of this family drama. Men are nasty when they find new women, women try to find a replacement in other women, and at the end there is no happiness.This is "Close Relations" by Deborah Moggach.

Anthony Higgins has the role of a husband who finds a new woman and leaves his family. He has some scenes in every episode of this mini-series, and it's interesting to try this image on him, but there is nothing special in the script. A work made by good professional, nothing more.

There are many well-known actors in this production alongside Higgins. Lorcan Cranitch is a strong, Irish television actor ("Ballyskissangel"; "Cracker"). It also has Shelia Hancock, John Thaw's widow in real life; Amanda Redman, who played Ray Winstone's wife in "Sexy Beast"; Alice Krige, who was in "Strauss Dynasty"; Honeysuckle Weeks is another great actress who became famous in the U.S. from "Foyle's War".

I think this series can be interesting for men - there are too many naked bodies, too many lesbian sex scenes, so... It's not suitable for repressed women or for children. Don't try searching for naked Anthony - he is one of the characters who has his wears on.
