British and German secret services against Russia and Felix Dzerzhinsky the Iron, Chief of Soviet Secret Service. Sydney Reilly (Sam Neill) is a MI6 spy, the cause of battle between services.

In three last episodes of the TV series Anthony Higgins appears as young Red Commissar ('a new Dzerzhinskiy's protege') Mikhail Trilisser. And there is nothing to play - his character is very simple. Trilisser is a strong person, he is a spy, and Higgins is calm, cold, sometimes serious, sometimes dissapointed - that's all.

I like this series and I like Higgins' character. And... Reilly is not James Bond. In last episode he starved with cold in Russian snowbound forest. Or it was last Trilisser's shot?
