Report 8319: Grenade - What Price Change?
One of my favourite TV series of sixties. I like Sir Anthony Quayle as Adam Strange.
This episode was concerning on latest news. It's 1968 in the end titles and it's story about rebellious students. And at that time students were rebelling all around the Europe - Paris, Prague, Moscow.
Anthony Corlan... no, it's young Anthony Higgins... plays Ferdy Walker, the leader of the students union. Demostrations, uncompromising opposition to everything and to everybody. Students are too young to undestand that bad guys can use them for their own purposes. They still believe in a honesty.
COAT MYSTERY:-) You can see him in his own coat, I believe. He appeared in the same coat in the "Journey to the Unknown" TV episode. Both TV episodes were filming in 1968, but considered as 1969. I still don't understand where did Ferdy find this coat in a forest while Hamlyn was sitting in the wet cave till the night coming and what did Ferdy do all this time? Or Ferdy came home, took his coat, went to the forest and Hamlyn followed him all this time? It's all right, but where is the coat in a last scene in a police station? No, it's just different shooting day:-)
I've always thought about Ferdy as of Hamlyn Gynt's dream and vice versa. Look at the caps - two handsome guys with unclear relations. They're just accidental friends, I know. But let me dream a little.
